Relaxed Screenings

Relaxed film screenings at Neuadd Dwyfor are designed to be friendlier to people with cognitive and sensory disorders, autism spectrum conditions, or dementia. We welcome everyone to these screenings.

You are free to move around, and come in and go as and when you want. There will be a more relaxed approach to noise and talking during the film. We keep the lights on low, and adjust the film volume so that it's not too loud.

Caption subtitles

Captions is a service for people with hearing loss or deafness. We provide subtitled screenings of films where possible. The screenings here have a transcript of the film's dialogue and sound at the bottom of the screen. Note that caption subtitling is produced by the film distribution company and unfortunately not all films have this feature.
